Outdoor adventures, mostly gravel rides, but not always

Washington Pass

A scenic tour of lightly used roads with excellent views of the Hood Canal

By the Numbers

Straightforward gravel climb to NF 2464 with a fast descent on near-perfect pavement (10 road miles, 26 gravel)
36 miles
3800 feet
Moving Time
All food must be brought with you, some creeks for filtering water
Parking available in the gravel lot across from the Hamma Hamma Oyster Company (probably their overflow parking)

The tour ridden clockwise ascends gravel and descends a near-perfect paved road.

Don’t question the hard right hand turn onto FS 2464 and the baseball-sized rocks at the entrance, it’s a wonderful road with almost no traffic, scenic viewpoints, baby rock slides, and wildflowers.

Washington Pass is at the intersection of FS 2464 and FS 2441.
